New CEO on deck at Chr. Hansen
Among the companies to see a change in leadership, Chr. Hansen has announced that it will have a new CEO starting later this year.
Cees de Jong, current CEO of Chr. Hansen, is set to continue in that position until Mauricio Graber takes over the role in June.
Graber was appointed by the company’s Board of Directors in January.
Previously, Graber was president of the flavors division of Givaudan, South America, where he also had been a member of the company’s executive committee since 2006.
Graber has a degree in electronic engineering and a master’s degree from the JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Professionally, he has worked with Nutrasweet Company and was with the flavor company Tastemaker when it was acquired by Givaudan. His experiences includes developing global industry leadership, building customer-focused practices, productivity and growth.
“With over 20 years of experience in the global ingredients industry, he is a truly international executive,” Ole Anderson, chairman of the board of directors, said in a statement. “Mauricio brings a strong track record and extensive global leadership experience from his current position.”
